A small beach wedding, without the production
No chairs, no stage, no sound system. A small ceremony on the sand needs very little: the water behind you, the people you love standing close, and someone to say the words.
If your family is already on the island for a vacation, nobody has to travel twice. Everyone walks down to the water, and an hour later you are married and on the way to dinner.

How a Siesta Key elopement works
01 · Before the day
Pick a date and a start time in the calendar, sign the short agreement and pay the 30% deposit. Then send me the plan by message: who is officiating, how many guests, any moment you do not want me to miss.
02 · The ceremony
I photograph your guests gathering, the walk to the water, the vows, the rings and the first kiss, from close by but out of the way. Nobody needs to look at me.
03 · After the vows
Family and guests together while everyone is still there, then smaller groups, then the two of you along the water. Your gallery of 70 edited photographs is ready in 2 to 5 days.
Morning or sunset ceremony
Early morning
The beach is nearly empty, the sand is cool and the light is soft and even. Morning ceremonies start between 7:30 and 8:30, and you have the whole day ahead for the celebration.
Before sunset
The last hour before sunset gives the warmest light and a colored sky behind you. In December the sun sets around 5:40 pm, in June around 8:30 pm, so the calendar shows the exact evening start for your date.

What you bring
- Your officiant
- Your Florida marriage license
- Flowers or an arch, if you want them
- Up to ten guests
- Clothes you feel good in. Bare feet on the sand are fine
What I bring
- The photographs, from the first guest to the last kiss
- Help with the time and the spot, by message before the day
- A calm plan for the group photos, so nobody waits long
- Leave confetti, balloons and glass at home. None of them belong on the beach

Bringing family and kids
Some couples come alone. Others bring their children, parents and a couple of friends. Both are a beach wedding.
I photograph everyone together right after the vows, while nobody has left yet, then the smaller groups, and then I take the two of you along the water. More wedding photographs.
Siesta Key Elopement FAQ
How much does a beach elopement on Siesta Key cost?
The photography is $600 for one hour with up to 10 guests and 70 edited photographs. Your officiant, flowers and the marriage license are separate, and you arrange them yourself.
Do you bring the officiant?
No, you bring your officiant. I photograph the ceremony and everything around it.
Can we bring more than 10 guests?
Text me the plan before you book. A bigger group can work, I just want to be sure one hour is enough for everyone.
Do we need a marriage license?
Yes, a Florida marriage license. If neither of you lives in Florida, there is no waiting period. The license details are on my courthouse wedding page.
How far ahead should we book?
The calendar shows every open morning and evening for the next four months. If your date is further out, text me the date and I will tell you when it opens.
What should we wear?
Whatever you feel good in. Most couples are barefoot on the sand, and a light dress or shirt moves nicely in the wind off the water.
What happens after we book?
You get a confirmation by email. Then send me the plan by message: who is officiating, how many guests, any moment you do not want me to miss. I send you the exact meeting point on Siesta Key before the day.
What if it rains?
I decide about an hour before the start, never earlier: Florida rain often passes before the evening. If there is clearly no usable window, I move it to the nearest time that works, and you do not lose the deposit because of weather.
Can we do this on another beach?
Yes, on Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach or Coquina: it is $700 there, the $100 travel fee is ticked when you book. For a civil ceremony downtown, see courthouse weddings.
